A steady presence in your corner

You set your dream on a shelf and called it too late.

From it's too late to in motion.

You spent your whole life putting everyone else first, the kids, your husband, your parents, and somewhere in there you set your own dream on a shelf. I'm Joanie. I'll be the older woman in your corner who isn't going anywhere, and I stay the whole way. Come use your voice for yourself this time, and take the first step that's yours.

Is this you

You know the dream. You just filed it away.

These are the things you've told yourself, maybe out loud, maybe just in the quiet.

  • “It's too late for me.
  • “Who am I to do this now.
  • “It's too selfish to want it.
  • “Oh, that ship has sailed.
  • “People will think I'm crazy.
  • “I wouldn't even know where to start.

Here's the honest part. You have not failed at the dream. You have never given yourself permission to begin it. The thing stopping you was never the dream. It was permission, and nobody sitting beside you.

The woman in your corner

I'm Joanie, and I've lived this.

I'm 69, and I know that self-doubt because I've lived it. I spent my whole life using my voice for other people, and I'm only now doing it the other way around. Some nights that little voice still creeps in and asks who do you think you are, starting something brand new at 69. I don't always have a comeback for it. But I stopped needing it not to be late.

I'll be the presence you may never have had, the one who looks at you and believes you're capable of doing something just for yourself. I'm not going to let you do it alone the way I did. Come in, and let's take that dream down off the shelf together.

Joanie :-)

Three rooms

Come in whichever door is yours.

However you come in, you're in the right room. That feeling that you were meant to do more counts, and every room starts with the same free call.

A small circle of women

The Circle Room

$700 for 7 weeks, six women at most

The same seven weeks, walked alongside a handful of other women doing exactly what you're doing. You'll hear your own story in theirs, and some weeks that's the thing that keeps you going.

  • Saturdays at 10 in the morning, Mountain time
  • Seventy five minutes together on Google Meet
  • Never more than six women, so everyone gets time
  • Your own time each week to ask or bring something

Just the two of us

The Deep One-on-One Room

$1,500 for 7 private sessions, one a week

Seven weeks of somebody sitting down beside you. We take the dream down, work on the permission nobody ever gave you, and I stay present while you take the first real steps.

  • Seven private 60 minute sessions, same day and time each week
  • My full curriculum, with worksheets we work through together
  • A steady presence beside you the whole seven weeks
  • We start with a free Discovery Call to see if we're a fit

A word about the first women in. The women who come into each room first are my Founding Women. In the Circle Room, the first six pay $300 for the seven weeks instead of $700, and you can split that into two payments. In the Deep One-on-One Room, the first two pay $1,000 instead of $1,500.

All I ask in trade is an honest note about your seven weeks that I can share afterward. There are eight of those places altogether and I can't promise any are still open, but I'll tell you straight on our call.

A look inside

What you'll find in the community

Inside the community: supportive community, live discussions, proven guidance, exclusive resources, action focused, and celebrating wins.Real women support each other — women gathering on a video call, stronger together.

No pitch, just a conversation

Come talk to me first

And if you wait, nothing bad happens. That's the hard part. The dream just sits there another year while something in your chest keeps saying that ship has sailed is a lie. Let's start with one honest conversation and see where you are.

No cost, yours to keep

Three guides, yours for free.

Short enough to do at the kitchen table with a cup of something. These are yours whether you ever work with me or not.

"It's Too Late" and Two Other Lies

The three sentences women say to me first, and what's actually true about each one.

Send it to me

Say It Out Loud

For the dream you've never told anyone. Four questions that circle it, and then one plain place to write it down.

Send it to me

The First Small Step

How to pick one step this week small enough that you'll actually take it.

Send it to me

Tell me where to send them

Put your name and email in and all three come straight to you. No cost, and you can leave the list any time.

Your address stays with me. I don't share it with anybody, ever.

How we meet

Two kinds of calls, both face to face

The Discovery Call Free · 25 min

A short conversation for the woman whose house is quieter, who has a dream filed away or just a feeling she was meant to do more. No preparing, no homework.

You'll leave knowing where you are, what you actually want next, said out loud, and whether Off the Shelf is the right next step for you.

Coaching Sessions One on one

Once you're in, we meet every week for seven weeks and work through the dream one step at a time. Every session builds on the last. In the Deep One-on-One Room that's just the two of us. In the Circle Room it's the six of you together on a Saturday morning.

Our sessions are video calls on Google Meet or Facebook Messenger, so we're together face to face wherever you are.

Calls are held on Google Meet or Facebook Messenger, whichever is easiest for you, or in person if you're within 70 miles of Colorado Springs. Payment is by Apple Pay, Venmo, or Cash App, and it's due before the first session.

How the work actually goes

Seven weeks, one at a time.

Each of the seven weeks has its own work. Week one is where you name your dream out loud, maybe for the first time in your life. Every week after that builds on the one before it.

We start each week's work together while we're on the call. Between sessions you finish whatever we didn't get to, and you look back over what you worked on that week. That part matters more than it sounds like it does. That's where the real steps get taken.

The program ends after the seventh session. You have twelve months from the day you commit to finish them, so if life gets in the way you can pause and pick back up, as long as you finish inside that year.

Before you book

What women ask me first.

"That's a lot of money for me right now."

Then look at the Circle Room. It's $700 for the same seven weeks, with a small group of women beside you. And if this isn't the season for any of it, come into the Wide Community Room and take part there until you're ready. It's free, and there's no deadline on it.

"It's selfish."

You have spent your life putting everyone else first. Seven weeks on your own dream is not selfish.

"It's too late for me. I'm too old for this."

We are never too old or too late. That is a feeling, not a fact.

"This sounds like therapy. Are you a therapist?"

There's no therapy involved. There's a dream, and there's the process of taking that dream down off the shelf. That's the whole of it.

"What if I don't even know what my dream is?"

Week one helps you name it, even if you've never said it out loud and have only had a feeling inside that you were meant for more, just for you.

Find me where you already spend your time

Post with us, ask questions, and pick up the free guides. Wherever you're most at home, that's where to find me.

You're not too late. You're not crazy. This is your time.

I built this because nobody was sitting in that chair when I needed them. I'm sitting in it for you. Come talk to me first, no pitch, just a conversation.

See where seven weeks can lead

Take your dream off the shelf.

Tell us the dream you’ve been carrying. We’ll create a personal picture of the woman who begins at the shelf, climbs seven steady steps, and reaches the life she chose to begin.

Plainly stated

No fine print, so here it all is.

I'd rather you know all of this before you book than find it out later.

Moving a private session

Give me at least 24 hours and move it yourself with the booking link. With notice you can move a session as often as life asks you to, as long as all seven are finished inside your twelve months.

Missing one without telling me

The first time, I'll put it back on the calendar at no cost. After that, a session missed without notice counts as one of your seven.

Running late

If I have another woman right after you, we still finish at your scheduled time. If my next hour is open, I'll use it to give you the full sixty minutes.

Missing a Circle Saturday

The circle meets whether everyone is there or not, so a missed Saturday can't be moved. I'll email you that week's worksheet and a short note on what we covered, and you pick back up the following week. If you have questions after you read it, write to me.

Refunds

Ask by the end of your first session and you get all of it back. Ask before session three begins and you get half. Once session three has begun there's no refund. Same rule in either room, Founding Women included.

When it expires

Twelve months from the day you commit. Anything you haven't used by then is gone.

Where we meet

By video on Google Meet or Facebook Messenger, or in person if you're within 70 miles of Colorado Springs. Every time I give you is Mountain time. I take a few weeks off each year for holidays and family, and I'll always tell you well ahead.

What this isn't

This isn't therapy or counseling. It isn't financial or legal advice. It isn't medical or nursing advice either, and I say that as a retired nurse, because that's not what this is. It isn't business or career coaching in the expert sense.
